Aryna Sabalenka recovered from a break down to beat Zheng Qinwen in an entertaining encounter on Court Philippe Chatrier on Tuesday to enter the French Open semifinals.

She almost lost the game in the 12th game due to a misjudgment by Zheng, but she fought back from set point and forced a tiebreaker. Sabalenka was more consistent and secured the set after Zheng hit long on a drop shot
Zheng Did Not Go Down Without A Fight
Zheng saved a break point from an overhead shot in the fifth game of the second set, but Sabalenka’s powerful backhand return put her down in the next game, putting the top-ranked player ahead 3-2. Zheng, however, did not go down without a fight and broke back immediately, but lost her two last service games.
